Synopsis

To address the growing gulf between today’s operational security priorities and the range of security challenges in a future time frame, the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Cybersecurity (GFC), the UC Berkeley Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity (CLTC) and CNA’s Institute for Public Research jointly conducted the Cybersecurity 2025 project by developing a set of 2025 scenarios on the cybersecurity challenges that government, industry, and civil society will face in the future and gauging how various stakeholders in different parts of the world respond to these scenarios. The findings serve to better position decision makers to reduce detrimental frictions and seize upside opportunities for cooperation. This talk will report on the findings from the year long project to enable us to extend and amplify the upside of the digital revolution.
